XW1100A is constructed of 2 light but high density polyethylene sensing wires sensing wires, an alarm signal wire, and a continuity wire which are pressed parallel together. The 2 detection wires in parallel structure make the cable smaller and less false alarm caused by electrostatic. This structure reduces the cable diameter and material cost. The rugged cable construction exposes no metal, and enables the cable to be reused even in corrosive environments. XW1100A sensing cable is mechanically strong and resistant to corrosion and abrasion.

Installation

Each XW1100A sensing cable requires an outgoing line to connect with the alarm host. (The sensing cable with plug needs customer additionally purchasing the outgoing line and the terminator and the standard length of the outgoing line is 3 meters. The sensing cable without plug is defaulted connecting to a 2 meters long outgoing line by the factory with no additional cost.) Special installation adhesive is required to fix the cable on the flat surface to make the accurate alarm. Accessories (terminator, line jumper, etc) can connect multiple sensing cables together to form a complete detection loop.
